Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ's of My Life
as an added bonus...
I also bring you the answers.

I have a high need for excitement. I thrive on creativity. I am currently in a life place void of each of these. Everyday I am bombarded with the same questions, and I give the same answers. To make room for new (more exciting) questions and answers, I am bringing you my personal FAQ's. Please feel free to read these and refer back, every day, so that when you speak to me, you have time to ask more exciting and probing questions!

1. Do you know what you are doing next?
Contrary to popular belief, I am not just pretending that I don't know what I am doing next. I have not secretly told everyone but you.  I actually just don't know what I am doing. I promise, promise, promise I will tell you if anything ever changes in my life. (Let's be honest, I tell you when I got a free cup of coffee, so I'll probably tell you when someone pays me to work for them- legally).  I know you think it communicates care to ask me every time you see me, "Any changes?" but have you ever stopped to think about what it communicates to me when I have to keep answering "No!" I can make my "no" more colorful, but apart from that, its hard to make my answer more exciting.

2. When do you stop working?
I am not sure what people mean by this question. Probably, never... the way Social Security is going.  If you mean more specifically, my current job, than I stop working on June 18th, mainly because I am going to Cambodia! I hope to be working a new job as soon as I get back to the states in July.

3. When are you going to move out?
Tricky Tricky. I move out of my home on May 31. I then get to crash in another residence until June 18th. "Crash" is a bit misleading for my international readers. By crash I don't mean the literal meaning of wreck, or destroy. I mean squat, sleep, reside for a brief time with no commitment. My fave! Fave also can be confusing for international readers. Fave is a way for lazy people to abbreviate favorite. It saves you 4 letters, which can be very important for me and teenage girls.

4. Do you think you will just stay in Cambodia?
No I do not.  Do you think you will just stay... where ever you are visiting this summer? Is it likely that you will decide you love vacationing at the beach so... much that you will leave all of your stuff, bills, family behind and just...stay there? I am not saying that God will not call me back to Cambodia at some point. I am not saying that I won't sell all of my possessions and just STAY indefinitely in Cambodia, but, no, I don't think that will happen this summer, any more than you think it will happen for you.

5. Are you planning on staying in Jackson?
I am not planning anything. No, my dream is not to stay in Mississippi forever. No, I do not hate Mississippi.
But... if you are asking my plan/dream, I would like to be East, where my people are. Again, not that East... although Cambodia, I'm sure, would make a lovely home.

6. Have you considered this position... or this position or this position?
Have you considered this position, this position, or this position? A job is a job, and I am thankful for any job God blesses me with (well I'll try to be thankful)! If you know if a job that is hiring that you think is a actually a good fit for me, send it my way, and I'll send my resume.  If it is a job that you would be insulted if someone recommended it to you, maybe don't recommend it to me! :)

I think that is it for FAQ's. Feel free to read this every time you have the impulse to ask me one of these questions. And then... ask me an exciting question, and in return... I'll give you an exciting answer!!!
